How to Open Zerodha NRI Demat Account

You can open NRI Demat account through cdsl exchange. The process of NRI account opening is same for other demat account. Account opening application form is same for both resident Indian and for NRI . At the time of filling account opening form NRI customer should choose NRI and select anyone repatriable or Non – repatriable.

 Now zerodha don’t have a facility for Nri to open demat account online. NRI have to open demat account Offline. NRI should visit zerodha website and download NRI PDF account opening from.

How to Apply Ipo in Zerodha

If you want to buy Ipo through zerodha app then you can buy with your UPI ID. You cannot directly apply any Ipo through funds in your demat account. Zerodha provide UPI facilities to do online payments for IPO. 

You cannot use other person upi id to apply for ipo. You have to use same UPI ID which is linked with your Bank account. If you use other person UPI ID for ipo then your application will get rejected, so that always use same upi which is linked to your bank .

Many person ask Zerodha provide or not margin facility. Answer is yes, Zerodha provide margin facility for equity trading upto 5 times for example: If you have 1 lakh rs in your demat account then you can do buying and selling of stocks for intraday upto rs 5 lakhs.
